Agitavi Partners with Leading Academic Provider to Develop Business Education Initiatives

Collaboration with Southern Cross University’s Enterprise Development and Research Institute will provide springboard for quality ICT management training

Agitavi Research Corporation today announced a research collaboration agreement with Southern Cross University of Australia’s prestigious Enterprise Development and Research Institute (EDRI).

The agreement will result in Agitavi and EDRI collaborating on the development of a world class business management training system targeting the software sector.

Malcolm Fraser, Agitavi’s Director - Software Products and Services Sector, said while independent software vendors and providers have the technical “know-how” to develop innovative products and services, many lack the business skills to grow to their full potential and succeed on the global stage.

“Software business owners and managers often find themselves caught up in the day-to-day pressure of running the business. This highly reactive mode of management leaves them without the resources or skills to fully determine their competitive advantage or plan for international marketing,” Mr Fraser said.

Dr Stephen Kelly, EDRI Director, said “market access and enhanced understanding of market dynamics and the needs of the information and communications technology professional” were amongst the benefits EDRI gained by partnering with Agitavi.

Agitavi Research Corporation specializes in providing business research, corporate learning, and management consulting services to meet the needs of the global information and communication technologies (ICT) industry.
