Microsoft Launches Agitavi’s Software Business Management Course across Asia-Pacific Region
Microsoft Singapore today announced the launch of the Software Business Management Course, an education program developed by Agitavi Research Corporation in association with the Enterprise Development and Research Institute of Sydney’s Sothern Cross University.
The Software Business Management Course (SBMC) has been developed by Agitavi to help independent software vendors reduce their operating risk and leverage the experience of proven management practitioners in their industry.
The SBMC is specifically tailored for the operators of software companies who sell their products in the Asia Pacific and Greater China regions.
In addition to Singapore the course will be launched by Microsoft in Australia, China, India and New Zealand through new tie-ups with other leading business schools across the region.
Mr Stephen Lim, First Vice Chairman of The Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), the national trade association of the Singapore infocomm industry, described the SBMC initiative as timely and necessary.
While technical training is readily available, capability development opportunities for independent software vendor CXOs, such as the one offered by the Software Business Management Course, are difficult to come by. The SiTF welcomes Microsoft’s initiative and we are happy to collaborate on further upgrading of our infocomm technology communities,” said Mr Lim.
Agitavi Research Corporation specializes in providing business research, corporate learning, and management consulting services to meet the needs of the global ICT industry.
